Ending Maker SS #29 Reunion (3)
It was quite odd to see Yuder, who was over 190cm tall, crying in Yuna’s arms, who seemed to be less than 160cm tall, but no one among those gathered made fun of it.
Instead, everyone had reddened eyes or shed tears.
The same was true for Cordelia.
‘I miss my mom.’
Hong Yu-hee’s mother came to mind spontaneously.
My mother, who is still well on Earth.
The mother, who could not appear in the yard where Hong Yu-hee was doing well, could only watch from afar, saying that she was her daughter.
And one more person.
It would be nice if I could watch over her from afar like Hong Yu-hee’s mother, but I’m not even able to do that.
Cordelia’s vision became blurred.
Before I knew it, I couldn’t see properly because of the tears that had poured down.
Countess Chase.
Cordelia Chase’s mother.
I barely remember anything.
All I could vaguely remember was the moments when I was clinging to my mother as she lay in her hospital bed.
The warmth of that time.
Warmth.
I couldn’t remember properly.
It was just vaguely warm, really nice – I don’t know if it’s a memory or just imagination, but those feelings remain faintly.
It was nice to see Yuder reunited with his mother.
Because Cordelia knew Uther’s circumstances well.
Because I knew very well that not only Yuder but also Kang Jin-ho had no mother.
That was so good.
My heart was bursting with joy at the thought of my beloved Yuder meeting his mother.
But at the same time, I was jealous.
I was so envious of Yuder being reunited with his mother that I almost felt sad.
‘mom.’
I want to see it too.
I want to meet you too.
I miss my mom too.
Joy and sorrow were mixed together and became a mess.
Cordelia burst into tears like a child.
And Uder responded to that cry.
Even though he was crying like crazy, he couldn’t miss Cordelia’s tears.
“Mom, Mom. Over there. Over there.”
Yuder, who was unable to properly organize his emotions, repeated the same words.
He managed to continue speaking, panting, before turning his head to look at Cordelia and gesturing to her as she sobbed.
“Cordelia. She’s my wife. She’s the person I love most in the world.”
These were words that came out naturally.
I couldn’t organize my thoughts, so I spoke like a child.
“Cordelia, this way. Come here.”
Cordelia, who had been sobbing, also responded when I gestured to her repeatedly.
It was none other than Yuder’s voice.
Just like Uther, Cordelia never missed Uther’s voice no matter how absent-minded she was.
“Ugh. Black.”
As Cordelia approached him, wiping her tears with the back of her hand, Uther wiped her face with a handkerchief and then blew his nose.
Those who were watching smiled faintly at the sight.
And thanks to that, Cordelia’s face turned red and she barely opened her eyes to see Yuna.
Yuna was looking at herself with a faint smile.
Blue hair, green eyes.
It was a somewhat heterogeneous color combination, but I just thought it was beautiful and mysterious.
‘Yuder’s mother.’
It really was.
You could see traces of Yuder all over Yuna’s face.
Above all, those green eyes.
A mystery that makes you feel like you’re being sucked in when you look at it.
“Hey, Cordelia. I’m Uther’s wife. Say hello to your mother.”
Maybe it was because she was crying so much, but Cordelia’s head wasn’t working properly.
Thanks to the etiquette that was ingrained in me, the greeting posture itself was decent, but the greeting itself was a mess.
But Yuna didn’t care about that.
He smiled brightly and reached out his small hand to gently caress Cordelia’s cheek.
Cordelia unconsciously leaned her head against his hand, feeling the warmth coming from his hand, and he smiled again.
“You’re Cordelia. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
“Me?”
Cordelia blinked involuntarily and asked again.
Who did you hear this from?
Father?
Count Bayer?
And what is the story?
What does Count Bayer think of Cordelia?
Suddenly my mind became confused again.
‘Well, you didn’t say anything bad, did you?’
Because you are my father.
And I haven’t done anything wrong to my father.
‘Well, I’ve run away from home quite a few times.’
Because I caused you a lot of trouble by running away in the middle of the night.
But there was a reason for all that, and now my father knows the truth.
So it should be okay.
Yeah, it’ll be okay.
But what is this ominous feeling?
A vague feeling that something is wrong.
Something that is too difficult to just ignore and pass over.
Moreover, isn’t it Cordelia herself?
It would be nice to say that the sixth sense was the best in the Pleiades.
‘What is it? What is it?’
My mother is smiling really brightly.
Why is that?
Why do I have an ominous feeling?
Cordelia’s worries did not last long.
Because the answer was immediately revealed – no, it was revealed.
“Why are you scared?”
A mischievous, teasing voice full of playfulness.
Cordelia looked up at the familiar thing, saw the carriage, and soon opened her eyes wide and spoke.
“Huh! Hey, Mr. Wild Snow Avalanche?!”
Why are you here?
Uder was also confused.
Yuna – So, I already knew that my mother was a wild god, but the fact that she was visited by another wild god, Avalanche, was a separate story.
Why did you come?
And if the wild avalanche had told Cordelia’s story-
“Hoo hoo hoo.”
A look of anxiety spread across Cordelia and Uther’s faces as the rough snowball laughed rather wickedly.
And that was the moment.
“Mother, this is my wife, Adelia.”
Gail broke the delicate atmosphere and introduced Adelia to Yuna.
“This is Adelia. Greetings to your mother.”
As Adelia calmly paid her respects, Yuna’s eyes began to sparkle once again.
“Adelia? You’re Adelia, right? Aeris’s child!”
When Yuna jumped up and down in place, Adelia opened her eyes wide in surprise, but soon smiled brightly and nodded.
“Yes, mother. It’s Adelia.”
Adelia was just over five years old when Yuna had to leave Count Bayer.
Adelia vaguely remembered Yuna, and Yuna remembered the small, pretty baby Adelia.
“You’ve grown up so beautifully. You’ve grown up so beautifully. You really look like Aeris.”
Yuna, who was expressing her admiration in many words, quickly turned her head and pulled the sleeve of Count Bayer, who was smiling happily next to her, and said.
“Why didn’t you tell me? Yes? That Adelia became Gale’s wife.”
The moment Yuna said, “Yes?” Count Bayer’s expression became as if he was about to melt, and instead of clearing his throat and changing his expression, he just laughed and answered.
“Well, I wanted to see you surprised like this.”
“Oh my, you grumpy bastard!”
When Yuna tugged at his sleeve again, Count Bayer laughed heartily, and the servants watching from the side thought.
‘So even the ability to flirt is hereditary.’
Should I say that it’s like a different world there?
The servants tried to maintain silence as if their hands and feet, as well as space and time, were shrinking, and Gale began to speak again with a laugh.
“Anyway, Mom, I can’t stand here any longer, so please come inside. My children are inside too.”
“Gale’s child? Adelia and Gale’s?”
“Yes, Mom. It’s our children. They’re twins.”
As Adelia answered quietly, Yuna jumped up and down in her spot again.
“Aeris’s child? And Gale’s child at that?”
Yuna, who was kicking her feet like a little child and getting impatient, started pulling at Count Bayer’s sleeve.
“You didn’t even tell me this! You grumpy bastard!”
“Heh heh heh.”
Count Bayer just laughed again, and the servants thought.
‘You’re cute.’
Anyway, it’s cute.
cute.
“Ahem. Anyway, eat.”
When Gale, who still had some sense left, urged her again, Yuna nodded vigorously and held Count Bayer’s hand tightly, and Count Bayer escorted Yuna into the mansion.
And about an hour later.
After greeting the twins, rubbing cheeks, holding fingers, and spending happy times with them, Yuna and the Count Bayer family gathered in the living room to chat.
“That’s what happened.”
Surprisingly, it was the rough avalanche that led the story.
Cordelia blinked at his short but surprising story.
“Mr. Blade Song······.”
Yuna’s older brother.
It was none other than the song of the blade.
Although they weren’t actually blood-related siblings, it was true that Blade Song was Yuna’s guardian.
“It’s similar to the relationship between a great storm and a gentle snowstorm.”
The great storm is a bird and the gentle snow wind is a deer, but they live together like siblings.
“Then, your mother······.”
“I am a wolf with deer horns. My father was a wolf god, and my mother was a deer god.”
Cordelia exclaimed in admiration at Yuna’s explanation, and Yuder looked back at the rough avalanche.
Rough Snow Avalanche nodded and said.
“Yuna is a very special case even among the wild gods. It is rare for wild gods to have children.”
Most of the wild gods were not anyone’s children.
The wild gods were created when artificial spirits, a product of the Artificial Spirit King Project, combined with the energy of nature.
“So… Yuna- Blue Snowstorm was the one who had to stay in the sanctuary even longer.”
“Blue… a snowstorm?”
When Yuder asked again, Yuna nodded.
“Yes, that’s my name as a wild god. But I’m Yuna. Yuna Bayer. That’s my name as a human.”
Yuna, who spoke with a warm face, looked back at Count Bayer as if to say, “Isn’t that so?” Count Bayer nodded while holding Yuna’s hand.
“Well, that’s why I didn’t know at first either. It was the first time I heard the name Yuna… and the younger sister of the Blade Song that I remember, Blue Snowstorm, was a little baby wolf. This was also the first time I saw her transformed into a human.”
Yuder and Cordelia nodded appropriately at the rough snow avalanche’s words and looked at Yuna again.
Maybe it was because I had heard the story, but when I encountered the song of the blade, I felt a unique energy that I could feel from Yuna as well.
“Anyway, this is the summary. Yuna, who had been out of the world for too long and was exhausted, returned to the wild land. And she fell into a long sleep to recover her energy in a sanctuary with a dragon vein. And then ‘that incident’ happened.”
That incident.
Cordelia pursed her lips, and Uther coughed.
What Uder and Cordelia did to awaken the Golden Dragon King.
The Golden Dragon King awoke as planned thanks to the chain explosion of all the dragon veins in the Wild Land, but the price was by no means cheap.
For most of the wild gods have lost their sanctuaries.
“are you okay.”
“mother?”
“It’s really okay. Even though the sanctuary was destroyed, my hometown was lost, and the people who depended on the sanctuary had to move far away… I was able to wake up like this. I was able to meet Rex again.”
Every time Yuna spoke with a bright face, Cordelia flinched as if she had been stabbed by a knife.
“So don’t worry too much. I really appreciate what you two did.”
And again the world’s clear smile.
Ahaha, Cordelia laughed awkwardly and quickly sent a message to Uther.
[You’re not going to turn around and do it, are you?]
[That person. He won’t be that kind of person.]
There was some truth to the words, but I don’t think they were intended in any particular way.
Oh, that’s right.
You’re just listing the facts in a clear manner.
As Uther and Cordelia comforted each other with awkward smiles, the wild eyed avalanche snickered and said.
“Why? Now that I have no hometown, shouldn’t I say that my hometown is not in danger?”
Hey hey hey.
You had it in your heart.
It looks like the rock mountain is still frozen(?).
But since it was true, Cordelia had nothing to say and just pursed her lips, while Rough Snow Avalanche shrugged, enjoying the feeling of victory for once.
But that was just then.
“You could think of it that way. Mr. Rough Snow Avalanche is indeed wise.”
“uh?”
“Isn’t that right? If you don’t have a hometown, then your hometown isn’t dangerous. That’s a change of perspective.”
“No, that, that is······.”
When Yuna spoke with bright eyes, the rough snowball was flustered and dumbfounded, and Cordelia blinked.
And Cordelia realized.
Yuna looked this way and gave a small wink.
‘ah.’
Perhaps we should call her Yuder’s mother.
Basically cheerful, but still witty.
Cordelia laughed, covering her mouth with both hands, and Yuna smiled gently in front of the rough, red avalanche of snow.
