Chapter 57 – Log Master
Ten Swordsman.
The ten swordsmen that the Kingdom of Seilun is proud of.
Each of them could not be simply categorized as a single inspector.
Because they were not ordinary humans.
The chosen ones.
Among the geniuses who were given the talent of swordsmanship by heaven, there are only a handful who, through endless effort, have overcome the barriers of humanity and finally reached the level of superhumans.
That is why each and every one of them was a legend, a living embodiment of the sword, and a point of reference for all who walk the path of the sword.
Duke of Antarius.
He is the oldest of the Ten Swordsmen and a national hero who saved the Kingdom of Cailun during the war with the Argon Empire.
Better known by his nickname, the Guardian of the Nation, he was not originally of noble birth.
Probably a commoner’s child.
A war orphan who doesn’t even know who his parents are.
That’s why he started life from the bottom.
Before he became an adult, he worked as a pickpocket and wandered around back alleys. After he grew up a little more, he was forcibly conscripted and became a soldier.
And not as a proper soldier, but as a cannon fodder stuck between the penal units.
But he did not die a miserable death.
When he picked up the sword that had been dropped by someone, whether friend or foe, instead of the crude spear, he felt a strange sensation as if the sword was sticking to his hand.
And he survived.
He honed his swordsmanship in combat, and when the war ended, he was no longer a criminal conscripted into the penal corps, but a titled nobleman.
‘A positional being.’
War hero.
An object of envy who started out as a commoner but rose to the position of noble through his own abilities.
The soldiers loved him and considered him their pride.
And he became a legend during the war with the Argonne Empire that broke out when the current king had just ascended the throne.
Not only did he win numerous battles, he also saved the king’s life, and ultimately ended the war by beheading the enemy’s de facto commander-in-chief, Marshal Carlos, the Imperial Swordsman.
The one who stopped the invasion of the Argon Empire.
The one who protected the Silates Plain, the most prosperous land on the continent.
‘That is why he is a patriotic man.’
A national hero who saved the country.
He raised his head.
Although he was in his sixties and approaching seventy, he was still very energetic.
His back was very straight, and none of the muscles in his body were atrophied at all.
That is why Count Rohan, facing the Guardian King, bowed down and swallowed his fear.
“Did you say Log Master?”
“Yes, it is said that someone who calls himself that stole several treasures, including the Tears of the Green God, from the mansion of Count Venus.”
“so?”
“yes?”
“That’s why I asked.”
The eyes of the Guardian Duke looking down at Count Rohan were extremely cold.
Count Rohan swallowed dry saliva without realizing it and realized.
The Guardian was not angry at the Log Master.
Indifference and a little anger.
Why would it be so important for a mere Countess Venus to tell him about the theft?
Do you really need to worry about such trivial things?
“I will make sure that there is no disruption to your work.”
As Count Rohan spoke quickly, the Duke of Guo turned around gently.
And the Earl of Rohan, who felt more and more impatient with the action, opened his mouth again and spoke.
“Preparations for the operation are progressing steadily, separate from the Venus Viscount.”
The 300th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Kingdom of Cailun is now just over a month away.
For the patriot and those who served him, that day was also the beginning of a new history.
‘The new royal family.’
The reorganized structure of politics.
An unconcealed joy spread across Count Rohan’s face.
For him, the founding anniversary was a day of coup d’état that would overthrow the existing royal family and establish a new royal family, putting the Earl of Rohan himself at the center of power.
The Duke of Hoguk knew what Count Rohan was thinking.
However, he did not correct Count Rohan’s misconception. It was an idea that the Duke of Hoguk had planted in the first place.
What the Earl of Rohan wants and what the Duke of Guk wants.
Things that appear similar but are essentially different.
“There isn’t much time left. Prepare thoroughly.”
“I will do that.”
Count Rohan, who had shown an example, hurriedly left the Duke of Guk’s room.
As the Duke of Hoguk himself said, you can’t upset his feelings with things like theft.
‘I have no choice but to leave it to the black moon.’
It wasn’t because of Count Venus that I brought up the story of the Log Master.
It was because of the second notice that arrived last night.
The Log Master will be visiting the home of Count Macan, who, like Count Venus, is in charge of money laundering and other dirty work, tomorrow night.
‘It would be best to stop a thief with another thief.’
In the first place, they are things that are used for this kind of thing.
Count Rohan, who spoke to himself, hurried his steps forward.
As the Duke of Hoguk said, there was less than a month left until the uprising, so we couldn’t afford to be held back by trivial things.
“The Marquis of Rohan… no, the Duke of Rohan.”
Count Rohan, stroking his well-grown beard and picturing his future self, couldn’t hide his smile.
He walked forward smiling happily.

And the next evening.
Adelia, who had taken the top seat at the fancy dining table that she had bought with half a year’s salary, had a very sullen expression on her face and was resting her chin on her hand even though she was eating.
It was because of the scene unfolding before my eyes.
“Wow, this is really delicious.”
“Yeah, the sauce is really good, right?”
“Confucius, can you do this too?”
“maybe?”
“Wow, as expected, it’s our Confucius.”
“Why? Because I want to eat it again later?”
“Yes, yes, Cordelia wants to eat it again next time.”
“If that’s what our princess wants. But princess, you said being a picky eater is bad, right? You have to eat carrots too.”
“Do I really need to eat boiled carrots when you are here? Eat some instead. Here.”
Cordelia picked up a carrot on her fork and offered it to Uther. Uther skillfully snatched the fork away from her and offered it back to Cordelia.
“Okay, try it. Ah.”
“Hey, what do you know? Just give it to me so I can eat it.”
“So don’t say anything. Okay?”
“Ouch. Ah. Okay? Ah~.”
As Cordelia opened her mouth like a baby bird, Uther stuffed a boiled carrot into it, and Adelia let out the word she had been holding back.
“This is fucking crazy, fucking crazy.”
Can’t you see me?
Are you completely lost in a world just for the two of you?
I want to see Prince Gale.
I can make a much sweeter pickle than those.
“Ahem ahem ahem.”
Cordelia, who realized Adelia’s presence anew, quickly snatched the fork from Yuda, and Yuda tried to suppress his laughter before starting to eat again.
But instead of continuing to eat with those two, Adelia decided to bring up a different topic.
“Little brothers, it’s good to be lovey-dovey, but let’s be a little careful about when and where. Okay?”
“It’s not love love.”
Cordelia, who had been timidly retorting, quickly closed her lips when Adelia glared at her, and Uder waited for Adelia to speak next.
It’s almost time.
“Father and Father will come.”
“And Uncle Gale?”
“Prince Gale will come too. Oh, and my brother will come too.”
“Brother Edward?”
“Oh, I guess it’s because it’s the 300th anniversary celebration.”
Usually, no matter how big the event was, at least one person was left behind in the house, but this time, because it was such an event, everyone in the house showed up without exception.
“Can you tell me when you expect to arrive?”
“If there are no other problems, you will arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon.”
A smile spread across Adelia’s face, perhaps excited by the thought of seeing Gale.
“But, sister.”
“Yes, little brother.”
“Are you all staying at your sister’s mansion?”
“That would be impossible.”
Adelia’s mansion was not very small, but it was not large enough to accommodate not one but two counts.
‘Well, there will probably be a lot of people following.’
Maia and Delia would probably follow, so it would be a large group of about twenty people.
“The royal family has decided to provide some of the palaces as residences for nobles who do not have mansions in the capital. Although they are palaces on the outskirts, they will be much better than some of the most luxurious accommodations.”
“Oh, wait. Then should we move too?”
“You guys should move too. I’ll go too.”
Adelia answered Cordelia’s question as if it was a matter of course, then picked up her fork and continued speaking.
“So… the night out is over today. Got it?”
Nightlife.
Cordelia flinched at Adelia’s words, and Uther also looked surprised.
“Why are you guys like this? I told you, this is my house, and everything that happens here is in the palm of my hand. Do you think my sister didn’t know that you two go out to play every night?”
Adelia was not an ordinary noblewoman.
He was one of the seven captains who led the Royal Magic Guard.
‘Oh, what should I do?’
‘Don’t worry. Judging from the nuance, you’re a pink bomb······.’
‘Log Master. Log Master. Log Master!’
‘Yeah, I guess he doesn’t even know he’s a Log Master.’
I guess he literally thought we were going out for a night out.
In the great metropolis of Wangdo, there were several streets that forgot the night.
“Did you understand what I said?”
“Okay, I got it.”
As Cordelia nodded, Adelia snickered and spoke to Uther.
“I know you’re both strong, but that doesn’t mean you have to go to dangerous places. Stay safe and go to crowded places. If you try to go to a dark place and do something like that, I’ll kill you. Got it?”
“Uh… yes. I’ll keep that in mind.”
“Okay, I believe you.”
Adelia, who smiled with her lips but not her eyes, stood up from her seat.
“Anyway, have fun. Don’t be too late.”
“Yes, sis. Thank you.”
“Thank you.”
Adelia smiled brightly and turned around to leave the restaurant, leaving Uther and Cordelia alone to look at each other again.
‘Let’s say today is like that, but what about next time?’
‘We have to find a way to make room. For now, let’s focus on today’s work.’
The second activity of the Log Master.
Cordelia nodded and resumed eating, and Uther pushed the boiled carrots that Cordelia had been secretly pushing away back to the center of the plate.
&
“Goddesses of the moon, please allow me to become a righteous thief.”
In the name of Selene and Helen.
Cordelia finished praying as Uther had insisted that it was a necessary ritual and quickly began to change her clothes.
“There’s no magical girl-like transformation.”
“Hey, don’t look over here and change your clothes quickly.”
Unlike Uther, who only had to wear a cloak and a mask, Cordelia had many things to change into.
Cordelia, who had just finished putting on rabbit ears and a tail, dyed her hair pink one last time and looked back at Yuder.
“let’s go.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Cordelia quickly got on Uther’s back, and Uther turned into a black gale and crossed the night of the royal capital.
Like that for about 30 minutes.
Cordelia frowned as she crouched on the roof and looked at the mansion beyond.
Not only were dozens of lights illuminating the darkness, but there were also what seemed to be at least a hundred people keeping watch not only along the mansion walls but also in the garden.
“No matter how much I think about it, Log Master seems crazy.”
Why would you spread a notice when you’re going to steal?
Although Uther strongly agreed with Cordelia’s argument, he could not complain.
It was precisely because of that foreshadowing that Log Master was able to become the king of thieves.
‘A truly free thief.’
The king of thieves who can get whatever he wants and overcome any obstacle.
“Half of that is a black moon, right?”
“Probably so. There must be a lot of them inside the mansion.”
It was a composition that made me sigh, but I couldn’t help it.
Since you’ve decided to become a log master, you have no choice but to break through.
“Black Cloak, are the items ready?”
“Of course, Pink Bomb.”
Yuder answered in a theatrical manner and opened the bag he had prepared, and a bright smile spread across Cordelia’s face.
“Shall we have fun and blow it up?”
“As much as you want. But then wouldn’t that make me a robber rather than a thief?”
“So you’re a Rogue Master, not a Sif Master.”
Uther looked dumbfounded for a moment at Cordelia’s claim, but soon nodded.
“Indeed, it is persuasive.”
“Right? Anyway, let’s get started.”
Cordelia held a bag full of pink dynamite in one hand, took out the moon crystal with the other, and Uther naturally hugged Cordelia.
And the moonlight pouring down from the sky, the moon crystals activating.
The legend of the pink explosion angel has begun.
